Selahattin Köksal is an accomplished business and technology leader with over 19 years of experience across Product Management, Marketing, IoT, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Partnerships, Big Data, SaaS, Sustainability, and Agile Methodology. He has a proven track record of driving digital transformation and delivering strategic initiatives that align with global business objectives, particularly within multi-brand, cross-functional, and international environments.
Currently, Selahattin serves as the Marketing Director, where he leads the strategic marketing initiatives for a diverse product portfolio. In this role, he works closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring seamless execution across digital, product, and service lines. His leadership has helped drive significant market expansion and enhanced customer engagement through data-driven marketing approaches and innovative product positioning.
In addition to his role as Marketing Director, Selahattin also holds a position as Board Director at Home Connectivity Alliance, where he plays a key role in fostering industry-wide collaboration to enhance the connected home ecosystem. His contributions include working with leading companies to establish standards and drive innovation that benefits both businesses and consumers.
Previously, Selahattin served as the IoT AI Sustainability & Strategy Group Manager at Vestel Trade Co., where he led teams managing IoT product portfolios, AI SaaS, and digital services. During his tenure, he was instrumental in growing Vestel's connected ecosystem to over 20 million products, spanning TVs, home appliances, electric vehicle chargers, and smart home solutions. His leadership contributed to the successful implementation of sustainability and cybersecurity initiatives.
Prior to that, as Head of Washer Group & IoT Product Management at Vestel, Selahattin was responsible for overseeing product line-ups and strategies for both washer products and IoT-enabled devices. His efforts led to a significant revenue increase, growing the washer group’s revenue. He also played a pivotal role in launching IoT-enabled products that strengthened the company’s market reputation.
Among Selahattin’s many accomplishments, he integrated the VeeZy and SmartThings ecosystems—a global first for the "Any App - Any Device" strategy—and created the VeeZy brand, an open global IoT ecosystem. His work in developing mobile applications reached over 700,000 users and generated recurring revenue models from digital services.
Beyond his extensive leadership in business and technology, Selahattin is also a published author, combining his technical knowledge with his passion for storytelling. His science fiction novel, Taht, was the world’s first book to include a digital art (NFT) collection, merging literature with cutting-edge technology. In Taht, he explores a future travels back and forth between centuries, telling the story of both a man and humanity. With its non-stop pace and excitement, it invites readers to witness the power of love and faith on a futuristic journey.
Selahattin is also the author of non-fiction works, including Tales From The Future: Artificial Intelligence, which provides information about AI technology and insights into the ethical implications and societal impact of AI. His non-fiction works aim to make complex technological subjects accessible and engaging for a broad audience.

Selahattin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Dokuz Eylül University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sakarya University. He is married and has one child.
